S|D PILATES STUDIO 401
Project Description
This project is designed as a contemporary pilates studio located within a loft space, focusing on reformer-based training and holistic well-being. The design aims to create a calm, functional, and flexible environment that supports both physical activity and mental relaxation. The program includes multiple studio types, consultation areas, and social spaces, forming a multi-layered user experience.
The spatial organization is based on a clear separation between active and private zones. Studio areas are designed to ensure comfort, safety, and focus, while circulation is planned to provide a smooth transition between entrance, changing areas, and training spaces. The loft level accommodates more private functions such as management and consultation rooms, ensuring both privacy and spatial hierarchy.
Natural light, ventilation, and acoustic control are key design parameters. The use of transparent and semi-transparent elements enhances spatial continuity, while maintaining necessary privacy. Overall, the project creates a balanced environment that supports both individual and group activities.
Materials
The material palette combines laminate flooring, rubber surfaces, glass, and ceramic finishes. Laminate flooring provides a warm and comfortable surface for studio areas, while rubber flooring ensures safety during active use. Glass partitions support transparency and daylight, and ceramic materials in wet areas offer durability and hygiene.
